Customer Portals

How much of your day goes on answering the same questions? Where’s my order, can you resend that invoice, what’s happening with my job, can you send that document again. A customer portal gives your customers somewhere to log in and find all of that themselves, at any time, without calling you.

InfaCloud builds custom customer portals that sit inside your website, in your branding. Customers log in to see their orders, quotes, invoices, documents and job progress, send requests and update their details, and you manage everything from one place.

How We Build Customer Portals

We start with the questions your customers ask most and the information you keep sending out by email. That tells us what the portal needs to show and what customers should be able to do for themselves.

Then we design the portal, connect it to the systems you already use, like your shop, accounts software or spreadsheets, and test it with real customer accounts before launch. We can build it in stages, starting with whatever saves you the most time.

Orders, Documents, Invoices And Requests

A portal can show order history and tracking, quotes waiting for approval, invoices and payments, and documents like certificates, contracts and reports. Customers can approve a quote, pay an invoice, upload files or raise a request without picking up the phone.

Each customer only sees their own information, and you can give different access to different people, like trade customers, staff or partners. Where your data lives in another system, we connect to it with an API connection so everything stays in step.

Why Businesses Choose InfaCloud For Portals

We run a customer portal ourselves. Every InfaCloud client has a client area where they can see their services, pay invoices, raise support tickets and manage their domains, so we know what makes a portal people actually use.

We built a private members area for The FED Foundation, where each type of member logs in to their own videos, documents and forums.

Customers of The Scruffy Trader have one account for their course, bookings and downloads, and Greenwood’s trade customers can apply for an account online. Need a members area for a club or charity? See membership and login areas.

Customer Portal Questions

Thinking about giving your customers their own login? These are the questions we get asked most.

Yes. Every portal runs over SSL, customers only see their own information and passwords are stored encrypted. We can add two-step sign in, and we keep the site updated, backed up and monitored.

Often, yes. Most modern software, like Xero, QuickBooks or HubSpot, has an API we can connect to. We’ll check what yours offers first. Where there’s no API, we can often work from an export or a shared spreadsheet so the portal still stays up to date.

Yes. You can create accounts yourself, let customers register, or have accounts created automatically when someone places an order. You stay in control of who has access, and you can switch an account off at any time with one click.

Yes. Every portal works in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, so there’s nothing for customers to download. If you’d like an app as well, we build mobile apps too.

Yes. You can set up different types of account, such as customers, trade customers, staff and partners, each with their own access. For example, trade customers might see their own prices and invoices, while staff see every order and partners only see the jobs they’re working on.

Usually, yes, if it’s a website we build or host. It sits inside your site in the same branding, under its own login. If your website is hosted somewhere else, tell us what it’s built on and we’ll tell you honestly what’s possible, or whether moving it over makes more sense.
