The Project
Celebrity chef Michael O'Hare needed a website for Inlamentation, his 16-seat tasting-menu restaurant in Leeds, that feels as considered as the food.
Inlamentation is a restaurant by celebrity chef Michael O'Hare: an intimate, sixteen-seat dining room in Leeds serving an ever-evolving tasting menu, with a commitment to supporting the local community.
The restaurant had a bold, monochrome design from designer Rich Colvil. It needed turning into a working website that takes reservations, sells gift vouchers and handles enquiries, without losing any of the design's character.
We built the site in Elementor Pro as a single, editorial-style page that follows Rich Colvil's design closely: the oversized Inlamentation wordmark, black-and-white photography, and large typography that reads like a menu card. It was then rebuilt for mobile so the layout holds together on a phone.
Reservations run through Tock, the booking platform used by top restaurants. Book Now opens Tock's booking window on the page, and guests can join the waitlist when their dates are full. Gift vouchers are sold through GiftPro, and larger parties and dietary enquiries go straight to the restaurant by email.
The restaurant team can update the reservation season and wording themselves in Elementor.
Inlamentation launched its website in November 2025. Guests can go from reading about the restaurant to booking a table, joining the waitlist or buying a gift voucher in one scroll, on any device.
