Who Does InfaCloud Actually Build Websites For?

Ever had a look at a web design agency’s website and thought “yeah but do they actually understand MY industry”?

It is a fair question, and one we get asked constantly. So let me tell you honestly who we’ve built websites for over the last decade, complete with real examples you can look at yourself.

I’m Kieran, I run InfaCloud from the North East, and this is our honest “who we build websites for” post. No cherry picked showcase, no pretending we only work with fancy tech startups. Just the actual mix.

Celebrity Websites, TV Stars, and Public Figures

Yes, we build celebrity websites. One of our favourite projects is Inlamentation, the restaurant website for celebrity chef Michael O’Hare. If you don’t know Michael, he’s the tattooed, punk rock, Michelin starred chef who ran The Man Behind the Curtain in Leeds and appeared on the BBC’s Great British Menu multiple times. His new venture Inlamentation needed a website that matched his personality, edgy, dark, artistic, not another beige “book a table” restaurant template.

We’ve also built sites for TV stars, singers, footballers, authors, and public speakers. If you’re a public figure and you need a website that actually reflects your brand rather than looks like it came off a WordPress theme marketplace, we’ve been there. Celebrity websites need careful thought around press pages, media galleries, contact routing for booking agents, and often quite specific fan-facing versus industry-facing content.

Nonprofit and Charity Websites

Another project is Durham Donkey Rescue, a local nonprofit doing genuinely brilliant work rehoming and caring for donkeys across the North East. Charity websites have unique needs, easy donation flows, volunteer signup forms, sponsor-a-donkey systems, event calendars, and clear storytelling that pulls people into supporting the cause.

Nonprofits often work with tighter budgets than commercial businesses, which is why we offer discounted rates for registered charities. If you’re running a nonprofit and thinking your website could do more heavy lifting for donations and awareness, we’re the folk to speak to.

IT Professionals and Tech Businesses

Hybrid IT in Newcastle is, a managed IT support company that we host at InfaCloud, positioned as the go-to for professional IT support across Newcastle and Northumberland.

Hosting for IT businesses matters more than most industries realise. When your entire pitch is “we keep your tech running smoothly”, the last thing you want is your own website going down or loading like a wet weekend. That’s why so many IT professionals choose to host with us, they know we take server uptime, security, and speed as seriously as they do.

Whether you need us to build your IT company’s website from scratch or just take over the hosting from whoever’s currently letting you down, we’re the right team to call..

E-commerce and Dropshipping Websites

E-commerce websites are their own beast. Payment gateways, product feeds, stock management, delivery integrations, VAT calculations, it all needs to work seamlessly. We build for both traditional retailers and dropshipping businesses, and yes, they’re different animals.

Bumble Print is a working example of a dropshipping and print-on-demand business we built. They needed a store that could handle a huge product catalogue, integrate with their supplier fulfilment, and rank well for the specific print products they offer. Dropshipping websites live or die by conversion optimisation and page speed, and this one delivers on both.

Funeral Directors and Traditional Local Businesses

Funeral directors are one of the most underserved industries when it comes to genuine web design. Most end up with generic template sites full of AI-generated copy that reads the same as every other funeral home. We think this industry deserves better, more warmth, more local personality, easier ways for grieving families to get in touch without navigating through corporate maze menus.

The same applies to farms, wedding car hire businesses, and taxi companies. These are traditional local businesses that often get sold the wrong solution, either a generic template site with no personality, or an overpriced enterprise setup they don’t need. We build websites that fit the business, not the other way around.

Trades Websites (Yes, Even Plumbers in Seaham)

Trades are the bread and butter of British small business, and they deserve websites that actually generate work. Whether you’re a joiner in Sunderland, an electrician in Newcastle, or plumbers in Seaham looking to get more local calls, the fundamentals are the same, fast loading, mobile friendly, clear services, obvious phone number, real photos of real work, and proper local SEO so you actually show up when someone Googles you.

We’ve built dozens of tradesmen websites across the North East and beyond, from single-person operations to mid-size firms with multiple engineers. If you’re a tradesman thinking “my website should be bringing me leads by now”, it should be, and we can make that happen.

Recruitment Agency Websites

Recruitment agency websites are a specific niche with specific needs, job board integrations, CV upload forms, candidate portals, employer-facing service pages, and often multiple location pages. The best recruitment websites do double duty, attracting both candidates and clients, without feeling schizophrenic in their messaging.

If you’re running a recruitment agency and your site currently just lists a few jobs pulled in from Indeed, you’re missing serious opportunities to establish your brand and generate direct enquiries.

Influencer and Content Creator Websites

Here’s a niche that’s exploded in recent years, YouTube influencers, Instagram creators, Facebook page owners, and TikTok influencers who’ve built massive followings and now need somewhere to consolidate their brand, sell merchandise, offer courses, or route brand partnership enquiries. Same for singers, authors, and public speakers, anyone with a personal brand needs a proper home base rather than relying on rented land like social media platforms.

Influencer websites need strong personal branding, easy content updates, integration with existing social platforms, and often e-commerce functionality for merch or digital products. We’ve built for creators across all the major platforms.

So Why Don’t We Specialise In Just One Industry?

Great question, and one I’ve thought about a lot. Some agencies pick a lane and only build for one industry. Nothing wrong with that approach.

Here’s my honest reason for staying broad, most of what makes a website great is universal. Fast loading, mobile friendly, easy to navigate, clear conversion paths, honest content, solid SEO fundamentals. The industry specific stuff (like integrating with a job board API or setting up donation flows) is technical detail we learn quickly for each project. But the core principles of building a website that actually works? Those apply whether you’re a celebrity chef or a taxi company.

Also, being broad means we spot patterns across industries. Something that works brilliantly for a funeral director’s website might be a genius idea for a nonprofit. Something we learn from building for footballers translates surprisingly well to public speakers. Variety keeps the work interesting and the ideas fresh.

Should You Work With an Agency That Hasn’t Done Your Exact Industry Before?

Honest answer, yes, if they can prove they build good websites generally. Any competent agency can research your industry in a week and build you something better than a generic template. What matters more than “have you built for a farm before” is “can you actually build a website that ranks, converts, and lasts”.

That said, we HAVE built for most industries you can name at this point. If we haven’t done your exact niche, we’ve almost certainly done something similar enough to hit the ground running.

The InfaCloud Client Mix in 2026

Right now our client base spans roughly the following mix, small local businesses (tradesmen, taxi companies, wedding suppliers, retailers), professional services (IT, legal, consultants, recruitment), nonprofits and charities, hospitality and food (restaurants, cafes, celebrity chefs), creators and public figures (influencers, singers, authors, TV stars, footballers), and e-commerce and dropshipping businesses.

The one thing they all have in common? They wanted a website that actually works for their business, built by a team that answers the phone and cares about the outcome. That’s what we do, whatever your industry.

Ready To Have YOUR Website Built By InfaCloud?

If you’re reading this and thinking “brilliant, they build for exactly my kind of business”, great, we’d love to hear from you. If you’re thinking “they’ve never mentioned my specific niche”, that’s absolutely fine, we’ve almost certainly built something close enough to yours, or we’ll learn quickly.

Either way, whether you’re a funeral director, a footballer, a farm, or plumbers in Seaham looking for more local work, we build websites that actually earn their keep.
