The Project
Greenwood needed to take a trade counter online, with hundreds of products, trade accounts and tools that help customers order the right amount.
Greenwood Building Supplies is a family-run builders merchant in Seaham, stocking fencing, decking, timber, sheet materials, mouldings and building supplies, and delivering across the North East with its own fleet.
They wanted a proper online store that trade and DIY customers could order from, plus better visibility in local search.
We built a WooCommerce store organised by department (fencing, decking, timber, panelling, sheet materials, mouldings, building and hardware, tools) with a prominent search bar and trade account applications.
We also developed custom tools, including a fencing calculator on the homepage that works out materials for a run of fence, and a bespoke shed builder. Local SEO work targets the real areas they deliver to, from Sunderland to Newcastle and Durham.
Greenwood now sells 328 products online, with custom calculators that help customers order exactly what they need. InfaCloud hosts, develops and optimises the site.
